The pole- and top finishes

All original Bali Parasols are pole parasol. A pole parasol is best complemented by a Balinese parasol base. Our parasol poles are decorated with wood-carved details and are made from FSC-certified durian wood from Indonesia.

Two-part pole parasol

Our parasols are made with a two-part pole, making them easy to ship, store, and move. The pole is made from Durian wood, one of the most durable types of wood and carrying the FSC certification. Our parasols come standard with a storage bag so you can easily keep the set together and store it. It is important to securely anchor the pole in the parasol base so that the parasol  cannot be lifted by the wind.

Wood carving on the pole

An original Bali Parasol is also recognizable by the beautiful wood carving on the pole and the top of the Bali Parasol. You can immediately recognize the quality and craftsmanship of the men in the workshop who undertake this wood carving. Beautifully carved deeply, showcasing a high-quality pattern. Our pattern has been developed for Bali Parasol, ensuring that our quality continues to stand out in this area. After carving, the pole and top are finished in gold or silver, matching the design of the parasol. This creates a stunning overall appearance with recognizably high-quality finishes.​
